Maybe it's just me, but I'm not sure the relationship between the slave worker and Anshe Chung is as coincidental as it seems in this story (and I'm still avoiding the forums so I'm not influenced by whatever they might be saying over there)

I read a little bit about this on the forums, and I don't know..

I had a hard time believing it was anything but some kind of hoax, or joke, for some reason.

I'm not completely jaded, and I do have in my own experience, knowledge of China and its ways, and I still have to wonder at the validity of this, but I'm not one to post on the shark infested waters of the forums much either.

Why would Anshe have anything to do with it?

I'm just curious, why in the world would specifically Anshe (as opposed to any other land-baron or, for that matter, general merchant) have anything to do with it? I can't believe you are judging only on the fact that both slave and Anshe speak Chinese; there are quite a lot of people who do that, and Anshe was called in simply because she was known to speak Chinese...
